Kimberly Gaalswyk, Licensed Master Social Worker (ND), Licensed Graduate Social Worker (MN)

Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from the University of North Dakota in August 2023, followed by her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Kentucky in May 2024.

With 12 years of experience in education, Kimberly has held various roles, beginning as a receptionist, then an assistant secretary, and later serving as an administrative assistant at an Alternative Learning Center (ALC) in Owatonna, MN. Most recently, she worked as a Behavior Technician at Heritage Middle School in Horace, ND. Over the past seven years, she has worked closely with students with special needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and Down syndrome.

Kimberly is actively involved in her community, volunteering with the ABLE Games as a judge for the past three years. She is also licensed with PATH foster care in North Dakota, providing respite care for foster families. She is trained in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) for suicide assessment and treatment and has obtained a certificate in Trauma-Responsive Practice from the University of Kentucky.

Passionate about helping others achieve their goals, Kimberly strives to guide individuals toward healing and wholeness by fostering hope and encouraging positive change. She values honesty, integrity, dependability, efficiency, and quality in her work.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors—especially in warm weather—traveling, trying new restaurants and recipes, and cherishing moments with her eight children, son and daughter-in-law, and seven grandchildren.
