Kelly Johnson, MSW, LCSW (ND), LICSW (MN)
Kelly Johnson received her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Concordia College and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Saint Thomas. She is licensed as a clinical social worker in both Minnesota and North Dakota. She works with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families. She enjoys addressing behavioral needs, oppositional defiance, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma disorders, life stressors, postpartum and prenatal mood disorders, grief, life transitions, and employee burnout.
Kelly is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Perinatal/Maternal Mental Health, including prenatal and postpartum mood disorders. She has certifications in trauma approaches such as Cognitive Processing Therapy, TF-CBT, and EMDR, and she is also certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. She has done crisis work in the past and uses de-escalation and crisis management techniques. Kelly loves meeting new people, learning new things every single day, and helping individuals connect with parts of themselves they didn’t realize they had to improve their everyday functioning.
