Erin Vogel, MA, Pyschology Intern
Erin Vogel joins the Solutions team in July 2024 as a doctoral psychology intern, continuing her journey toward earning her doctoral degree in psychology. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders from California State University Fullerton in 2017. Erin went on to earn a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco in 2020, followed by another Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from George Fox University in 2022. She is currently a fifth-year doctoral candidate at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, and is set to complete her doctorate in 2025.
Erin has gained diverse clinical experience in private practice, outpatient, inpatient, and hospital-based settings. Her previous practicum experiences have focused on neuropsychological and comprehensive assessments, individual and group therapy with children and adolescents, and crisis consultation in emergency departments for individuals of all ages.
She has a strong passion for working with children and their families, particularly those navigating OCD, anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and oppositional defiant disorder (ODD). She also has experience supporting children adjusting to a lifelong chronic diagnosis. Erin finds great fulfillment in conducting assessments with teenagers to help them understand their cognitive processes and behaviors.
Erin is dedicated to helping families find clarity, answers, and access to the resources they need to thrive. She takes pride in guiding families toward hope and resolution, especially when they have been searching for answers for a long time.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and exploring with her two dogs. She is an avid sports fan and loves watching true crime television shows as well as Marvel movies and TV series.
