Brydon Wanner, MA, Psychology Intern

Brydon Wanner is a doctoral psychology intern currently earning his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University in La Mirada, California, where he also obtained his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology in 2021. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, in 2019. Originally from Mandan, North Dakota, Brydon is excited to join Solutions and become part of the Fargo-Moorhead community.

As part of his doctoral training, Brydon has provided therapeutic services across various clinical settings. At the Biola Counseling Center, he supported college-aged students navigating anxiety, depression, identity formation, and relational challenges. He also gained experience conducting psychological assessments at Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center in Los Angeles, California, working with adult men impacted by homelessness, severe mental illness, substance use, and criminal histories. Additionally, as a doctoral practicum student at Compass Recovery Inc. in Cypress, California, Brydon worked in a residential treatment facility providing behavioral interventions as part of an inpatient program focused on medical detox and stabilization.

Brydon is naturally curious and passionate about understanding people’s stories. He believes in the power of self-discovery and personal growth and considers it an honor to walk alongside his clients as they navigate their journeys. His clinical approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a deep respect for each individual’s unique experiences.

Outside of his professional work, Brydon enjoys an active and multifaceted lifestyle. He is an avid runner training for marathons, and he also loves hiking, camping, cooking, and board games. A self-proclaimed “jack-of-all-trades,” he finds joy in exploring new activities and can often be found watching Jeopardy! or spending quality time with friends.
