Peter Myxter, M.S., BCBA, LBA (ND)
Peter Myxter earned his Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from North Dakota State University in 2011 and completed a Master’s Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from the University of North Dakota in 2023. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in North Dakota, with additional licensure in Minnesota.
Peter completed clinical training through internships at Dakota Family Services, where he served as a Testing Intern, and at the North Dakota State University Counseling Center, gaining experience in assessment, intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Peter has spent his entire professional career with Solutions, serving in a variety of roles including Mental Health Practitioner, Staff Supervisor, Behavior Modification Specialist, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. His long‑standing service within the organization reflects his commitment to supporting children, families, and school teams across the region.
He is trained in the Incredible Years Dinosaur School Treatment Program and is a certified group leader for the Incredible Years Teacher Classroom Management curriculum. His areas of expertise include providing ABA services within school settings and offering behavioral consultation and coaching to teachers and staff. Peter specializes in helping educational teams implement evidence‑based behavioral strategies to support student success.
Peter’s favorite population to work with is elementary‑aged children. He values the opportunity to build foundational skills during early developmental stages and enjoys collaborating closely with school professionals to create lasting positive change.
