Courtney Leben-Perez, MSW, LCSW
Courtney received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota in 2020 and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2021. She completed her MSW internship with Solutions in 2022, focusing on outpatient services and intensive behavioral interventions. Courtney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Since 2022, Courtney has worked with Solutions as a North Dakota Mental Health Rehabilitation Therapist. Prior to that, she gained experience working with individuals recovering from substance use, individuals with developmental disabilities, and in elementary school settings.
Courtney is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children ages 3–7 and is a Title IV-E provider. Her training also includes PCIT for older children (ages 7–10), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for youth ages 3–18, and advanced training in Honoring Children: Mending the Circle, a culturally enhanced adaptation of TF-CBT designed for American Indian and Native Alaskan children. She is also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is currently completing training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) for children ages 0–5.
Courtney previously served in the United States Air Force and has completed the three-tier Star Behavioral Health Providers Program, which enhances military cultural competency and improves access to behavioral health care for service members, veterans, and their families.
Courtney specializes in foster care and child welfare, working with children with high behavioral needs, and supporting individuals with trauma backgrounds.
